Our systems are the finest in the industry, using technology from England, Germany and the USA. Our operators are trained to not only do the job properly, but to advise and report on every aspect of the cleaning operation. Their people skills are as important as their technical knowledge.

A large proportion of our work is residential care homes, so therefore our staff are equiped to deal with virtually every suituation in the vast world of cleaning.

Despite various advances, deep steam extraction remains the most effective, thorough and safe system currently available. The introduction of systems using powders, granules, foam and solvents have had very limited success but were introduced to improve drying times.

However modern vacuum technology has made these systems virtually obselete, therefore at Akron Cleaning we have found over the past 33 years that deep steam extraction is by far the best method, and is used in all our cleaning services.

Our service usually comprises of one or more operators depending on the size of the area to be cleaned, with all the nessesary equipment and cleaning agents needed for all applications, all we require is water and power.

Akron Cleaning delivers results that can be seen in this picture to the right, which is genuine and not uncommon.

Carpet soiling is accumulative and gradual, the dramatic results seen here often surprises customers who never realised just how dirty their carpets had become!!

Hi I'm John, Principal of Akron Cleaning Systems. I have been cleaning carpets for 33 years and during that time have brought back thousands of square metres of carpets from the dead (or dying).

I learnt my skills in America, Germany and of course the UK. These include textile refurbishment, carpet fitting, and training other carpet cleaning companies.

During all these years I have come across many situations where replacement seemed inevitable to my customers, yet I always manage to exceed their expectations and prolong the life of the carpet for many more years.

I provide a customer friendly service, and am always happy to help with advice and reccomendations, over the years this has included supplying his Royal Highness The Prince of Wales with cleaning equipment and chemicals, (but i'm here for the rest of you as well)!!!
